Hi, I’m Lavender-
the rainbow mind behind
Lavender Super Morphs

I’m a Neurodivergent Artist, Holistic Herpetologist, and a peer-reviewed Permaculture Designer with a lifelong love for all things beautiful and misunderstood. Whether I’m building naturalistic enclosures, filming snakes, or geeking out over genetics, everything is rooted in curiosity, care, and connection.

Hi, I’m Morgan -

The Tech Mind Behind
Lavender Super Morphs

I’m an Engineer, Cosmic Adventurer, and lifelong animal lover who brings the vision of Lavender Super Morphs to life through tech, tools, and hands-on work. From building custom habitats to wiring and programming environmental controls, I’m the one making sure everything works behind the scenes.

🐢 Our Animal Story

💜 Herstory

Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember—cats, dogs, rabbits, chickens, hamsters, guinea pigs, rats, mice… even sugar gliders, lynxes, and hermit crabs. But reptiles? There was an instant connection. It started with the very first snake I ever caught in my front yard, it was just a little orange and grey Rosy Boa [Lichanura orcutti] who I unsuccessfully tried to get eating pinks and later released.

I grew up catching horned-lizards in the desert and "blue-bellies" in the forest, I have watched many a  southern alligator lizard sunning on a brick wall, we even helped foster animals for the Living Desert. When I was In fifth grade we rescued a Desert Box Turtle, her name was Henrietta and my love of reptiles continued to grow. Since then, I’ve cared for slider turtles, various pythons, asstd. geckos, desert tortoises, neo-tropical tree boas, and now my absolute favorite: The Plains Hog-Nosed Snake. We have even recently expanded our Exotic Family to include various Tarantulas.

My home has always been a safe place for misunderstood species and wayward creatures. Every animal I’ve kept has taught me something different about patience, presence, and respect—and that philosophy guides everything we do here.

History💙

I grew up with California desert tortoises, a dove, rabbits, and a beloved aquarium. Reptiles came later but quickly became part of my life. I’ve been a dedicated keeper since 2021—and during Lavender’s cancer treatment, I took full responsibility for our Hognose and feeder mice colonies, learning how to support and sustain them with care. That experience deepened my connection to the animals we keep and gave me a renewed sense of purpose. Assisting Lavender in rebuilding from the ground up made me more committed than ever to this shared work—and to creating something meaningful together.

💜Why Reptiles Matter to Us🐍💙

In 2021, Lavender was diagnosed with breast cancer— during that time, she reconnected deeply with her lifelong love of reptiles and animal behavior. That experience changed everything, setting us on a new path we’ve followed ever since. She immersed herself in learning and enrolled with @reptelligence in 2021 to study reptile behavior, training and enrichment. In 2025 she proudly completed both the Master Herpetologist I and the Husbandry and Captive Management Programs through The Amphibian Foundation. Morgan is the one behind the tech—designing the systems that bring our habitats to life. From electronics and lighting to environmental controls and automation, if it needs wiring, building, or problem-solving, he’s the man. We co-design our FOHMs (Front Opening Habitat Modules) and develop tools together that make reptile keeping more intuitive for others.

This journey has been one of growth, healing, and rediscovery. It’s only deepened our passion for connecting others with these incredible animals in thoughtful, ethical ways. We’re building something lasting at Lavender Super Morphs. From thoughtful keeping to hardware and hard-work, this is a shared dream—and we’re proud to be growing it together.

🌿Life Outside the Rack

When we’re not caring for animals or designing enclosures, we’re probably:

✨ Dancing our hearts out at EDM shows

✨ Hiking through forests, fields, and anywhere green

✨ Stargazing, eclipse chasing, and cosmic adventuring

✨ Traveling for inspiration, connection, and fresh perspectives

✨ Tending our permaculture garden and learning from the land

✨ Journaling, sketching, and dreaming up new ideas

Because our world doesn’t stop at the reptile room—it’s all connected.

Lavender Super Morphs is where all of this comes together—science, nature, creativity, connection and technology.

Whether you’re brand new to reptiles or deep into the exotics hobby, We're glad you’re here. 💜💙
